The extraordinary journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which began in 1963 with just 20 regimental schools, has transformed into a vast network of 1,289 Kendriya Vidyalayas, illuminating the nation with the light of exceptional education.

With this vision, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Regional Office Silchar continues its journey of nurturing young minds through meaningful learning experiences and value-based education. We look at ourselves as a coterie of learners, where everyone learns including our staff, students and parents. As we attain new milestones and undergo beautiful beginnings, we feel proud to state that KVS RO Silchar has expanded its infrastructure, both physical and digital to provide a conducive and vibrant environment for holistic development and progress. Our Vidyalayas strive to create thriving spaces where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are celebrated, and individuality is respected. By integrating progressive pedagogical practices with evolving digital resources, we aim to prepare learners for a rapidly changing global landscape while keeping them rooted in the ethos of Indianness.
