Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Agartala is a centre of excellence in the field of education in Agartala. Established in 1983 under the ONGC Tripura Project, the Vidyalaya initially started with only the Primary Section.At present, the school has one section of Balvatika-3 and two sections each from Classes I to X. At the Senior Secondary level, the Vidyalaya offers Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams, with one section in each stream.For the academic session 2026–2027, the Vidyalaya has a total strength of 1,047 students. The school is committed to providing quality education and fostering the holistic development of students through academic excellence, co-curricular activities, technology-enabled learning, and value-based education.
